WP Theater (Women’s Project Theater) joins forces with the acclaimed and adventurous theater company Ars Nova to present the world premiere of award-winning playwright Rachel Bonds’ latest offering, SUNDOWN, YELLOW MOON, featuring music and lyric  from Brooklyn indie-rock duo The Bengsons (Hundred Days) and additional lyrics by Rachel Bonds (Five Mile Lake), and directed by two-time OBIE Award winner Anne Kauffman (The Nether).

Before Rent, there was Tick, Tick… BOOM! This autobiographical musical, by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning Jonathan Larson, is the story of an aspiring composer questioning his life choices on the eve of his thirtieth birthday. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city, his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue, but Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical. This exhilarating, funny, and moving work by the late Larson will speak to anyone who's ever gotten lost on their way to finding their dreams.

"Wait, Wait, Don't Kill me!" is like Serial Season One, only with much more singing. In the opening episode, a young Sarah Koenig, a beat reporter for the Baltimore Sun, needs a big story to boost her career. Voices in her head give her an idea that could make her dream of working for Ira Glass come true. Years later we find Sarah working at This American Life, where Ira wants to do a show about murder. He asks a nervous Sarah to recount the murder that made her career and possibly solve it, something she immediately regrets.
